So today begins my delightful week off uni while the rest of my peers are in schools on placement.
I have been looking forward to this week off as it should give me time to do everything I need to.
My list of things to complete are as follows.
1. Exercise. I wanna get fit and toned for summer, as well as get my strength and general fitness up for when I go to Kenya. So far on an ok start. I did some Zumba, which reinforced that I should definitely stay at uni and get my degree as if I had to pay my way by stripping, people would be shocked and turned off by my uncoordinated moves and would demand their money back.
2. Complete my myriad of uni assignments. I have to make a model of an Eco house then wire it up with a light, doorbell and motor driven wind turbine.
Do a maths assignment which people have been saying will be at least 20 pages long.
Learn to play either my harmonica or ukelele. I'm thinking the harmonica will be the best option. The ukelele is beautiful and pink and purchased on a whim, but I do not know if I could master it in time for my presentation. I think pulling of 'Love Me Do' by The Beatles is a much more achievable feat. I also need to choreograph a dance to perform with my friends, see two plays and produce 2 major artworks. I am thinking or doing a Andy Warhol pop art inspired 'ode to Redbull' like his soup homage. Sigh.
3. Go to the bank, the doctor, the hairdresser and a travel agent.
4. Clean my room. My mother said if I kept the squalor clean for on month she would quit smoking, and she gave me one week to get it spotless.
So yeah thats my weeks list. My one shift was just cancelled so I have plenty of time to do it, if only I could motivate myself. I have to get all my uni work done ASAP as I head off on a girls trip to The Gold Coast next week the same day two of the assignments are due so The earlier they are done, the earlier I can start planning outfits.
But as I write this I just got another shift, hooray for my bank balance, but no for my time management, but hey I wouldn't have been motivated anyway.
Shame all I wanna do is watch 'Community'. Joel Mchale is sexy as hell. Wish there was someone as fine as him at my university. Would have made the 6 years spent gaining a bachelor and masters degree a hell of a lot more interesting.
