Aloha

So this blog is being created at the request of a few of my dear friends and by one of my University professors who thought I was insane and should channel my insanity into something creative.
She wanted me to write a book. But I think I will start off with a blog.

At the moment I have completely lost my voice and just incase karma is punishing me and my voice never returns I better get used to blogging.

Although the people who read this blog will more than likely be my friends while they a bored at work, just in case a random blog wanderer stumbles across this page I best write a little somethin' somethin' about myself.

My name is Megan, I am 23 years old, live in Sydney, Australia and the main thing that I love are music, fashion (although I would never consider myself to be a fashion savant) and travelling.

I have visited a significant chunk of the world and am adding more and more trips to my agenda.
So far I countries I have graced are The United States, Mexico, Thailand, The United Kingdom, France, Switzerland, Spain, The Czech Republic, Germany, Croatia, Slovenia, The Netherlands, Italy, Austria and Canada (although only for an hour- and isn't that a story to tell). In 2 months I am going to China, a country that I had no real desire to visit and now I am very excited. I also plan to volunteer in Africa at the beginning of 2012.

I love all types of music, and I wish I could have a soundtrack to back every moment of my life.  My two all time favourite bands are The Beatles and The Smashing Pumpkins with Elton John, Billy Joel, Fleetwood Mac, Nirvana following close behind. Most of these bands and artists started before I was even born! I think they don't write songs like they did back then!

And although I like talking about myself, I better keep some mystery!
