A lost boy lost.

On Tuesday morning I woke to find a message from my friend Nicole informing me of Ryan Dunn's death.

We had always been the boys biggest fans growing up with him being one of our favourites.
Now don't get me wrong, I find Jackass funny just as much as the next fellow but it was Viva La Bam that I really loved. Seeing all those boys being silly together, men with no plans or intentions to ever grow up was so enviable.

They made me want to be a boy and have carefree, drama-less relationships that I assumed boys had with each other.

I was legitimately saddened by Dunn's passing. Especially when reading and seeing interviews with April and Phil and Bam. In a way we felt like we were part of their family. Like April was Wendy looking after all the lost boys who never wanted to grow up.

One day soon Nicole and I will get drunk and watch Viva La Bam. It will be sad, but we a bound to smile soon enough.
R.I.P man.

Boner Alert!

Vintage edition
Elvis Aaron Presley definitely has that somethin' somethin'

I have watched a number of his films and I have to admit, I was surprised that  he was actually a decent actor. My favourite Elvis song is 'Burning Love'. I think I would melt if some bloke sang it to me.
My other favourite Elvis tune is 'In the Ghetto'. Mostly due to the comedic value and the fact that I consider myself to actually live in the ghetto so when someone speaks of events occurring in our hood I will chuck in the odd high pitched 'In the Ghetttoo, in the Ghettooooooo'.
The attraction was nearly lost though when I had to endure a performance of Elvis' back catalogue by a Thai performer whilst vacationing in Phuket. He had good intentions but he was absolutely butchering the songs I had grown up with and I also think he thought I was interested in him because I was staring with an awkward smile on my face singing along loudly trying to drown out his attempts.
Good try man, maybe stick with singing Red Hot Chilli Peppers.
Ahhhhh. Such a dreamboat.
Dunno, maybe I was just destined to have a thing for the King since my father
has framed Elvis posters everywhere.
Its odd to think that he would be 76 this year if still alive.

Maps.

Wino Forever.

Now Johnny and Vanessa have a beautiful family, and
Johnny and Kate well they were surely a hot couple!
But I can't help be partial to the vintage 90's pairing of
Johnny Depp and Winona Ryder.

If there was a movie made about my life, 90's Winona would play the title role.
