Oh Whitney

So seems a common trend on Twitter and Facebook over the last 24hrs are people expressing grief and sadness over the death of Whitney Houston.

So I will join them.

There is nothing I love more than belting out a Whitney number at karaoke, I have been know to do a hauntingly beautiful if not somewhat traumatising rendition of 'I will always love you', or 'I have nothing'.

So my next karaoke performance will be dedicated to the late and great Ms. Houston. May it reinforce how much of fantastic singer she was as I suck fiercely in comparison.

Jambo, Jambo Bwana

So I am back from the lovely country of Kenya.

It got off to a horrendous start before I even left the country, but I am trying to repress those flashbacks and just absorb all the amazing memories I have for my month. Will put up lots of photos, but are here are some for the time being. I am actually really disappointed in the camera I took. It had a 16x zoom, however the zoom got sand in on my 3rd day in after a drunken frolic on the beach. It then was a temperamental motherfucker the remainder of the time. Also took horrid low lighting photos, but what can you do.

Wish I was back there travelling. Things are way more simpler when you are away!
